about
heather a wilson, architect
While studying at Tulane Univeristy, Heather developed a deep appreciation for southern forms and building typologies well known in and around New Orleans.
With a minimal aesthetic and design philosophy focusing on the impactful connection between the inside and out guiding her projects, Heather established her own design firm after a decade of practicing architecture in Boston.
Featured by Southern Living as one of its 50 People Who Are Changing the South, she is highlighted for "altering the notion of the Southern farmhouse," streamlining the familiar form. Her projects range in scale and her work can be seen throughout the southeastern U.S. in Vermont and Wyoming.
Heather is licensed in Massachusetts and South Carolina. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
