After buying a very small (450sf) historic farmhouse in the old village, we added a house behind the house. A vaulted, single-story kitchen connects the original front to the living and sleeping space of the new rear. The house is full of light and fully connected to its landscape. It is very much a work in progress, but continues to be so much fun to develop.
